Meets National Occupational Health and Safety Regulations
You can learn how diseases are transmitted, and how to
protect yourself and others from infectious diseases in a
variety of situations and settings: at home, at work, in
school, in daycare centers, in community and recreational
centers, or while travelling.

Babysitters
Endorsed by Fire Prevention Canada
Targets youths ages 11-15 who are planning to start
babysitting. Teaches basicfirst aid and how to respond to
emergency situations, explains basic baby and childcare,
and offers advice on becoming a responsible Babysitter
- developing confidence, creating a safe environment,
even tips for finding baby-sitting jobs. There’s no doubt
that parents of small children feel more secure when they
hire Red Cross trained babysitters!

Keeping children safe is a big job - and this course offers
a helping hand to new parents, adult babysitters and
childcare workers.
